Unpaid UN intern admits 'publicity stunt'

A young New Zealander who lived in a tent during a UN internship in Geneva as he couldn’t afford proper accommodation in the city, has admitted his choice to camp was partly motivated by a desire to draw attention to the “unjust” nature of unpaid internships – and that he leaked his story to the media himself.
